Day 131 with Erin!!

So it has not been a good last few days….. :(

On friday night after work, I fell down a flight on stairs onto concrete. THANK GOD, nothing was broken, but I hurt myself pretty bad. I have bruise on my hips and really hurt my left elbow and shoulder…so I have been out of the work out plan for the last 3 days! :( I feel so out of shape. On top of that the pain killers they gave me are making me gain weight! It is so depressing! It feels like a step back!

Thankfully I am starting to feel ALOT better! My goal is to be up and moving by this weekend. Sadly not at the same intensity, but defintely back into the workout routine!!

Just wanted to give you an update…I’ll keep you posted! :)





Day 127 with Erin!!

It has been a day since I check in, Wednesday night went great! Cirque of Dreams was an amazing show, I definitely recommend it if you get the chance to see it!! I drank water the whole night, avoid  all  the fattening food and alcohol. :)

Yesterday went just as well!! Right on point! Every meal every 2 1/2 to 3 hours and drank over 5 liters of water. Excercise was great. It was my usual routine with weights and the treadmill. Did an extra 30 minutes, wish I would of had more tim to do more….but time was definitely not on my side yesterday! It was so hectic and crazy! But I manage to follow my eating plan perfectly!

Today has had the same tone. It has gone sooo smoothly!! :) I have eaten every 2 1/2 hours. Just enjoy my 3 rd meal….waiting for it to digest and then headed to the gym for some cardio!! I usually skip Fridays…Just work out every other day and let Friday be my day of rest….but there is no time for that with my goal in mind! So I am headed for 2 hours of cardio at the gym! It is going to be great!! :)

4 days down, almost 5…cant wait to weigh in and measure to see how well all my hard work has paid off this week!! Let the pounds melt off….crossing my fingers and hoping for 3 lbs!! 3 lbs a week will let me hit my goal!! :)

On another note, I realized that I forgot to say that I went to a Bridal Shower for a friend this last weekend. There were friends there that I haven’t seen in almost a year….it was so great to see them. None of them have seen me since I lost weight! It was so great to hear their compliments. They were all like “wow you have lost an amazing amount of weight…you look good”. It was so encouraging. I think it is easy to get caught up in the fact that it is just not instantaneous to be thin…it is nice to know/hear that your hard work is really paying off and is noticable!! :)

Sooo….the weekend is ALWAYS the hardest for me to stay on point. I always catch myself forgetting to eat every 2 1/2 hours…..or I find myself at a restaurant where there is nothing clean to eat! :( So I am going to try really hard! Tonight I am headed out to dinner with my cousin. We are going to Applebees. I will order chicken with no sauce or anything. and then just broccoli on the side. I think that is the closest to my meal plan. I will throw some almonds in my purse to eat with it. Tomorrow night, I have dinner plans with my boyfriend. I think I will just plan on making dinner for us so I can guarantee that it is all clean. I don’t have any other plans during meals this weekend….so all else should go good!! :)   Here is praying for a perfect right on point weekend!!





Day 125 with Erin!!

This morning was a KILLER to get up! Lol! Don’t they always say that about the third day! My body was not happy with me! I did a bunch of stretching when I go there and a bunch of stretching after! I didn’t have as intense workout as I usually do. My goal We to keep my body moving and I did just that. Did the bike instead of doing the treadmill the whole time. Did 10 miles in 40 minutes…so definitely not as hard as I normally do, but still really good. Then I finished up with 20 minutes on the treadmill with only half the incline I normally do! My legs couldn’t go any steeper…LOL!! :)

As I was working out this morning and really pushing myself, despite the large objections from my body! :) it made me think of what Bob (the trainer on Biggest Loser) said a few episodes ago. He was talking about how it has to be tough, you want it to be miserable.so that you always remember how hard it was to get the weight off…so that way you never go back! That really stuck with me. This isn’t a walk in the park. It sucks to eat fish! ( yes I think I’ll say that in every blog!) And it is miserable getting up at 4:30 in the morning! But it has to be like this! When I am at my goal weight, it is the journey that lead me to my goal weight that will keep me there! I don’t want to eat egg whites or fish (that isn’t smoothered in sauce and glaze!) Again! And I sure as hell don’t want to work out for this amount of time so intensely again! :)

I know I go this…45 days to New York! First 2 days…PURE PERFECTION!! today will be the same!! Going to watch Cirque Dreams tonight!! Excited for the play! Not excited for the tempting food!! Cotton candy, ice cream, wine, beer, hot dogs, etc. The girl I am going with. (My supposed work out partner…although she bailed again for tonight!) is already planning on guzzling wine! But I know I got this. I planned my meals so I’m eating right before I go! That way I will be nice and full!! :) I will drink plenty of water! Now you can all hold me accountable to that!! :)

Here’s to an awesome day 3!! Going to try to go for a walk during my lunch today! We will see how busy the day gets! I only have time to do stairs and weights today, which all together will only be 2 hours and 15 minutes of workout, been aiming for 2 1/2 to 3 hours a day….maybe time will be on my side and I can do the treadmill for 20 minutes after weights! Say a prayer time is good to me!!

On a side note, I want to know how the contestants on the Biggest Loser work out 6 hours or more a day!! I am in better shape then most of them when they start out….yet just 3 hours a day is kicking my butt!! Lol! I wonder if they bathe in icy hot like I do!! :)

Day 124 with Erin….part 2!!!

The rest of the day was perfect! Followed my meal plan…exactly!! Drank over 5 liters of water! Plugged my nose again through the fish! :) just keep reminding myself how great I am going to look. Did an hour of cardio plus weights tonight! Then went back to the gym for another round of cardio strip!! Soo much fun, I am finally starting to get the hang of it!

Now just sitting with a heating pad on my back and icy hot all over my body! Lol! :) and watching biggest loser! I love this show.

Day 2 is almost complete and it has been a success!! 45 days to go!! :)





Day 124 with Erin!!

Already off to a great start! Perfect morning. Got up and did an hour of cardio before work! I love that Saved by the Bell is on during my whole work out! I love that show, what 80s kid doesn’t…right? Had a great breakfast and now sitting and eating yams&chicken. Yeah that’s right at 9:30 in the morning. My coworkers always look at me funny, so I retreat to my office to eat this meal! :)

Cardio strip was a blast last night!! Although my hips are a little sore from rolling around on the floor so much! But on a positive note, zumba is canceled at the gym tonight. & so they are doing cardio strip instead!! So I get to go twice this week!! :)

Speaking of zumba has anyone tried it? My friend and I went a few weeks ago. It was by far one of the worst experiences of my life!! We got there and she didn’t give any instructions. She just started dancing! Not like choreographed dancing. But SUPER FAST hip hop dancing that you couldn’t even follow. We tried for 10 minutes, but when the girl next to you is laughing at how bad you are doing, it is definitely time to leave. We waited until the teacher turned her back and then sprinted out. Lol! It’s a bummer though because I have heard such good things, but this was awful. Maybe I need to find a Zumba for dummies class!! :)

Anyways, day one of my challenge complete!! It was a perfect day and day two is shaping up to be the same!! Woo hoo!!! Those pounds better melt off with how much my body is moving! My legs are currently covered in icy hot! :)





Day 123 with Erin….part2!!!

Woo hoo, I figured out how to blog off my Droid….that means u will be here a lot more from me! :)

I had a few realizations this afternoon. One, stairs suck by yourself. It is so hard to do them when no one is there SUFFERING with you…LOL!! But my second realization is that walking stairs are sooo much easier with music! :) usually I keep my pace by the other person, without someone there I was able to keep a faster pace by the beat of the music!!

I was so proud of myself! My strength amazes me. For the first 20 minutes, every time I walked up a flight of stairs, I ran them instead of walking. Then I walked down them. It was a hard, but GREAT work out!!

Why oh why can’t fish take like chicken? And smell like it to..lol! :) it would be so much easier to eat if it didn’t smell the way it does!! But I plugged my nose and chowed down! :)

Its been an EXCELLENT first day of my 47 day challenge!! My meals are all pack in my cooler and ready for tomorrow!! Now headed to my cardio strip class!! I highly reccomend everyone tries it! The funnest workout ever!! :)





Day 123 with Erin!!

New short goal!! 47 Days until I go Maryland and New York….I want to weigh exactly 200lbs when I board that plane…so I have 47 days to lose about 19lbs!! I got this!! It is my new motivation….I have had a so-so last few weeks. But this week I am hitting it strong!! Was up at 430 to get in an extra hour of cardio before work. Headed to do stairs in 30 minutes!! And of course my cardio strip tease class later tonight!! I love that class!! Food has been right on all day, every 2 1/2 hours, just like clock work!! Woo hoo!! My fish meals are coming up…eeehhh, gross. But I got it!! I want to buy new cute clothes in New York!! :) so I will eat the fish even if I have to plug my nose!

So that is my new 47 day challenge…it seems impossible at 3 lbs a week, but I am going to pick up the pace!! More cardio and stricter diet. And now I have told you all…so you all can keep me accountable!! :)

Day 122 with Erin!!

Had a great week! Back on track!! My work out schedule was right on! I love it! I worked so hard! I love watching the muscles develop in my legs and arms! I am getting so much stronger. I was able to increase all the weights this week!

My work out partner bailed way too many times, but I was able to stay on track and went by myself! :o )

Eating every 2 1/2 to 3 hours didn’t work so well this week! :o ( I had a crazy week prepping for all this stuff at work! So I premade all my food today for this week! I know if it is premade then I will be able to eat right on time and eat exactly what I need to!

Lost 1.2 lbs this week! :o )  Woo hoo!! I love that it is coming off!!





Day 117 with Erin!!

Sorry, been a little MIA lately…. Between work projects and life, I just kept forgetting to blog. Things are going pretty good! Last week I was SOOOO unmotivated! I really realize how much I count on an accountability partner to go to the gym. having someone who is there at the gym waiting to meet you, makes it a million times easier to actually go!!!  I had several different excercise partners to meet up with through out the week, and you know what?? EVERY single one of them bailed out on me! I was already so unmotivated and then to not have that support I was so bummed!

While it is a great thing to have an accountability partner and someone there at the gym with you, I really realized how it has to be about me. I am doing this for me! Not everyone is going to have the same motivation level as me and not everyone is going to be as dedicated! I want this. I want to see myself at my goal weight and I am going to continue to work hard until I get there. I can’t rely on someone else to get me there! Whatever I put into it is what I am going to get out of it! So needless to say my motivation is back and I am going strong this week! Everything is going great and I am sooo excited for my results. While 1/2 pound is good, it wasn’t good enough for me! I want to see 2-3 lbs every week! I am working hard enough to see those!

I added in a Pilates class too! I thought it would be this fun, easy class….NO! It was hard. My legs are SORE! Wow it really works your whole body and builds strength. I am defintely going to continue to do this twice a week. I think it will really help build up my strength! :)

I was a little proud of myself. Today we had to set up for some events at work, and I was able to pick up a picnic table bench. Just me and one guy! Usually I have to have another girl or two help on my side! Lol! I AM building muscle in my arm!

It is going to be a GREAT week!! Now off to watch the Biggest Loser! :)

Woo hoo!! Didn’t weigh in last week because I was sooo sick! But I lost 4.2lbs over the last 2 weeks!! That is excellent!
